We perform inspections and audits according to international quality standards, and we are also happy to adapt to our clients’ specific requirements, specifications, and code of conduct. Our expertise covers a range of special areas, including hygiene, personal care, packaging, medical devices, and garments.

 

Our inspection services also include a basic review of the supplier’s capabilities, such as their management, operating procedures, and quality systems. Within 24 hours of the inspection, you will receive a preliminary report with photos and additional information.

 

Pre-Production Inspection (PPI)

A Pre-Production Inspection is the next step after supplier qualification.

Normally, it’s conducted once raw materials are received, verify if the factory is able to begin production, and all the product specifications and quality requirements are understood.

The inspector will conduct a physical inspection of raw materials, components, and other preparation, and will also help to solve any problems immediately to ensure a smoothly running.

 

First Article Inspection (FAI)

A First Article Inspection is a vital quality control procedure that ensures that the initial manufactured product meets the customer’s exact requirements. The FAI attests that all engineering, design and specification requirements are rightly understood, accounted for, verified, and recorded.

The FAI inspection takes place at the factory floor right after the manufacturer starts producing the first mass production samples. A complete, independent, and documented physical and functional inspection process is conducted.

 

During Production Inspection (DPI)

During Production Inspection is an on-site production inspection, also in-process inspection performed when 20-50% of your production is completed and packed for shipping.The DPI inspection could identify deviations, product issues early in the manufacturing cycle, it provides a quality check, generally for the first time of the finished products.

The DPI inspection ensures that all processes and products are being produced to the agreed standards and timeframes, also as a follow-up inspection with quality issues been found during a PPI.

 

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)

The Pre-Shipment Inspection is to ensure the products have been manufactured match the client’s specifications and packed ready to ship. It’s a quality control method to help you secure the quality of completed goods.

The PSI is a systematic inspection of samples randomly selected from the shipment, it usually will be performed when 100% of products are completed and the order at least 80% packed.

 

Container Loading Inspection (CLI)

Container Loading Inspection to ensure your finished goods are handled correctly as safe transportation when loaded into containers and ship to the final destination, so the service is kind of cargo inspection before it loads into the container.

The Container Loading Supervision usually takes place at the factory's warehouse or the forwarder's warehouse and conduct after a PSI.

During the loading supervision, our inspector not only supervises the entire loading process, ensures the loading of the correct products and correct quantity but also inspect the correct packaging and the quality of goods. It's the final opportunity to confirm compliance with your requirements in terms of quantity, assortment, and packaging. 

 

Lab Tests

Hypax also provides lab-tests and verification reports through world leading international test-labs and organizations. Lab tests are conducted to help you to reduce risks and examine the quality and safety of your suppliers’ raw material, components or products, such as “Finished goods tests”, “Material composition tests”, “ROHS-” and “REACH-compliance” tests.
